In a few weeks a new season of Europe Trail Cup (formerly Alpe-Adria Trail Cup) will begin. Same as last year Big Bear’s Ultra will be part of the ETC
The 2025 calendar includes 14 trail and ultra-trail events in 8 countries – Turkey, Slovenia, Poland, Croatia, North Macedonia, Italy, Romania, and Slovakia.
Europe Trail Cup includes two championships – TRAIL CHAMPIONSHIP and ULTRA CHAMPIONSHIP. For the TRAIL CHAMPIONSHIP the results of category XS, S and M (ITRA 0,1,2,3) races are counted, for ULTRA CHAMPIONSHIP the results of category L and XL (ITRA 4,5,6) races are counted.The individual BBU events are categorized in ETC like this:

Only 3 best results in the season are counted in the leaderboard.Runners are ranked in the final leaderboard if they have participated in at least 3 cup events from 2 different countries.
